About Us

Noisedirect National Noise Service operates on a very simple formula. We provide a basic fixed fee Noise Advice Service, which you can access at a modest fixed fee of £39.00 (plus VAT). In return, at a time that suits; you are able to speak with an experienced and qualified Environmental Health Practitioner, who will listen to your noise issue or query and provide, tailored, simple, straightforward advice, with no gimmicks or script.

Our advisers will explain the legal remedies and other options available to you. We don't bombard you with marketing calls or pressure you to use any of our services, but are ready to help you choose the best options to solve any noise related problem with our range of Noisedirect Services

Since its inception in 2005 Noisedirect National Noise Service has helped countless individuals resolve a range of problems from noisy music, machinery, barking dogs, motor sports, playgrounds, sporting sites, anti social behaviour, licensed premises and wood and laminate flooring.

Whether you need advice on personal injury claims for work related hearing loss or want to know how to implement effective noise mitigation measures to protect employees or those living nearby. Our team of independent, impartial advisers can provide the answer. We are not advocates or acoustic engineers, although law and science, including the science of noise are part of the academic and vocational skills of all Environmental Health Practitioners. We are public health professionals. We investigate and examine how noise affects the health and wellbeing of people living and working in day to day environments and whether the effects of noise will cause damage or injury to health or interfere unreasonably with comfort and amenity.

Our most basic service is the ever popular, 30 minute, £39.00 (plus VAT) fixed fee Noisedirect Telephone Consultation

We also carry out desktop reviews of planning and licence applications, for individuals or on behalf of local authorities. We can undertake nuisance, HHSRS and amenity assessments and attend Court as expert witnesses. If you are served with an Abatement Notice by your local Council and need help and advice in complying with the terms of the Notice or need help to appeal, then our skilled team of Environmental Health Practitioners are ready to help.

Our services are used by social landlords, statutory agencies, small, medium and large businesses, Solicitors, Barristers, Insurers and every day ordinary people.

All our advisers are experienced, unbiased and fully qualified Environmental Health Practitioners, members of the Chartered Institute of Environmental Health and other professional bodies.

Our £39.00 (plus VAT) fixed fee Noisedirect telephone advice service remains exceptional value for money with no increase in fees for over 10 years!
